Patton Oswalt: Death Bed

This is from Patton's album, Werewolves and Lollipops, which is one of the funniest standup routines I've ever heard. This was my favorite bit from the album.

I usually hate videos where the visual is just a still picture, but I don't have footage of Mr. Oswalt performing this bit, and it's just too good not to share.

The actual title is "death bed, the bed that eats." The word "people" isn't there. I think the title is even funnier without people. It's just the bed that eats. it could eat other things. perhaps occasionally it eats people. watch and find out.

It does eat other things. He also got the back story a little wrong. But it's still one of Patton's best bits. I'm actually half way through the movie, took a break to listen to this.

whew, thanks for the tip. i almost laughed. thank god you and your infallible comedic prowess were here. finally one man has taken it upon himself to decry the long held belief that different people have different tastes, and not a moment too soon. after all, if you're the only one not laughing, it certainly doesn't mean you don't "get it". what's more likely is that everyone but you is dumb.
