@MandiMoo28 It's laying on ice and snow - of course it's freezing. Plus, its body heat is melting the snow and all the cold water is seeping into its fur.

@thechicat He is. Everybody else would probably tease it first before killing it and collecting it's prize.

If you know nothing about deer then you shouldn't comment on this video. All of the people who say that he should of help the deer, he couldn't. He helped it by putting it out of it's misery. And for the people thinking that he should of make a cast, how could he of done that.... With his jacket? NO, he would probably freeze to death. Then all the people say that would be great, that he froze to death. You're sick. SICK. You think a deer is better than a human? Hunters killed deer. So shut up...

It is unfortunate, but at least it didn't have to die slowly, and more painfully. It's in a better place, anyways. But i have to say that's the darndest- cutest- looking deer I've ever seen. ^^

@2010maryanne What is he suppose to do? Construct a cast on the spot, prescribe some antibiotics and give it a future appointment to have the cast removed? Its an unfortunate situation, but when wildlife animals break a leg, they are usually eaten alive by predators or slowly die from infection and starvation. At least this one avoided all that.
