A key process in the homebrew recipe is titration. This means testing the used cooking oil for free fatty acids. You want to find out how much free fatty acid is present so that you can compensate for it with additional Potassium Hydroxide. Follow these easy steps to find out how to perform a titration.

  • except nuclear energy creates small amounts of waste, that we currently do not know how to dispose of. We are putting it underground in caves for the time being, but that won't work forever. Also, if nuclear energy becomes our primary resource for energy, uranium deposits will become depleted very fast. Already, uranium is getting harder to find. Also, mining uranium is considered one of the most dangerous jobs in the world...although coal mining is also very dangerous. Hope this helped :p

  • the problem with biodiesel is that when the plants are cut down to make the oil for the car, the amount of CO2 that isn't converted to oxygen is greater then if you just used gasoline. Also, if corn is used as a oil for you car, then all you are doing is depleting food supplies. So, no, vegitabe oil cannot and will not be the solution to the energy crisis

  • 0:36 that's a lot of Kool-Aid. lol
