Well I disagree - I wouldn't have my degree now if it wasn't for the existance of the OU. All my latest courses had electronic books aswell as the hard copies. The exam feedback is no different to my brick uni feedback. I say, if you want a degree and need to continue to work to earn an income, the OU is there for you.
I completely disagree. I studied with the OU for 3 years, and did 10 courses, the material of all of which was available electronically, as well as mailed out in book form. And as for pricing, a full-time year cost me around £1500, which is half of what other UK universities charge for a year. For that you receive a personal tutor (who tutors between 5-20 other students) who is available most days of the week. I couldn't say that about the other two traditional universities I've studied at.

Hello all present and future students of OU
I would like to say that I do not recommend this university. The study material is not available in electronical form(for many courses), and transparency when studying there is very limited. If you fail your exam, you have no chance of knowing what you answered wrong, as they do not provide any service in this field whatsoever.
I also find them grossly overpriced compared to what you get from them as a learning institution.
