The vehicle is not for anyone who wants to keep a low profile.Thanks to its unusual design, it's likely to remain a head turner for quite a while. Competitors in the premium SUV market have been eyeing the newcomer suspiciously. The BMW X1 has an established fan club and is considered to be the sportiest SUV in its class. Can the Evoque give the BMW a run for its money?

In your Dreams. Like in the VW advert, where everyone wants to think their car is as good as a Golfs, as it is the class leader(suposedly), everyone likes to think their 4X4 is as good as an Evoque, which they ain`t. You get what you pay for. Evoque is pure CLASS and looks stunning. The X1 is the ugliest on the road, and the Kia is a good looking 4X4, but very average in all other departments

oh and the evoque's interior looks like a kia so much.. it reminded me of my wife's sportage.

@PAYBACK118 Uh? Neither of them are ugly. I'd say they're hand to hand when it comes to looks. The BMWs back is acceptable, even good looking with the LED taillights. But the evoque's is just awful.. The front of the evoque definately looks better than the X1 tho. But the interior of the x1 is much classier and luxurious, although the evoque's center console is better than x1s. Anyways is a matter of taste..
