The guy was so pissed that I didn't release the fish. I had it cooked the next day and I can say it's one out of the two best tasting fish I've ever had in my life.I also catch and release - whenever I catch a small guy or I already have plenty of fish or I just feel like it. Nevertheless those guys who chose to always catch and release should be equally respectful and aware about the world that surrounds them.If they don't like eating fish - that's all right but they shouldn't be a drag indeed

nice video. I met a guy here in Kosovo who is crazy about fly fishing. he almost always releases every single fish he catches. I do respect that - he's in for the sport. Nevertheless, I encountered him recently after catching a nice Balkan trout - a local species. It was hurt pretty badly during the catch as it bleeded quite a bit until I was able to get out the hook. I don't think there was any sense in releasing it as it woud swim upside down from the very first minute.

Plus you just preformed an illegal action on camera. Ive been fishing in PA all my life. When is it legal to clean your fish in the stream?

@hcmatley31 Maybe im blind here, but from what it looks like, your a grown man, and from what it seems, your having a hard time getting a 10-13 inch brook trout into shore. I couldn't imagine you fighting a 30 inch catfish. By the time you get the fish in your hands, the hook has been digested and shit out its asshole.

@hcmatley31 There are no native browns in PA. Only wild. The Brook trout is the only native trout.

You should pick up fly fishing. It makes catching trout so much more enjoyable. Seriously, that looked boring on a spinning rod.

Where were the ducks!!! haha
ok, why rip the guts out of the brookies(a native species) and release the brown.(not native to the united states) i dont get it

@pk066392 Most of the trout I caught were stocked by the state fish commision. I rarely keep native trout and the small browns I caught were natives, as in born and bred in this or close by stream. Sure maybe the species didn't originate here but they have adapted and are thriving. Regardless of it all are you saying we should not eat brook trout because they are native? Or just leave the guts in when we eat them? HAHA...Stop being a drag.
