I finally got the Ninja Gun running to a certain degree. Its tracking is still off yet, hence I couldnt score well. Not to mention, Its very difficult to play and keep camera steady too.

The quality is bad due to darkness
needed to film it properly without any
glass reflections. Also cause I used a crap encoder this time around.

The colors are a bit off too.. as when the red light comes on, it throws my cameras sensor into thinking its white - and ruins the effect. It actually is supposed to have a beautiful sunrise orangish color.

I will upload new versions at a later time to show the other effects, and other details of the game.

This game is part EM, but also has many circuit boards with chips inside. Its a real work of art.

Enjoy :)

  • Awesome !!

Great to see one of these machines coming back to life and still playing well.

  • Thanks. Glad 2 bring it back :) The vid dont do it justice. Goto arcadecontrols dot com, on the message board under 'arcade'. Under my Ninja Gun post, you can see much better pics of it.

  • There R limits2 what mechanical games can do, But, also cheaper & more reliable 4video games. Of course, coinop industry is just about vanished. Mostly due2 lack of originality, & gameplay that is2 easy & limited. Many of us dream of a relapse of creativity & ingenuity.

  • Oh man, I used to play this all the time back in the day! It's just like I remember it. Thanks for this bit of nostalgia.

  • Wonderful. Please use a better camera, use a tripod and make another video of this game. These are so rare it would be great for historical reasons to preserve on video what these games were like. I don't imagine the original manufacturer made any movies of the game in action, so you can help preserve arcade history.

Best wishes. You are one lucky person to have this game.

  • very nice, i used to see this down the boardwalk sometimes, even in the 90s. they never worked properly, though. i just bought my first completely-EM rifle game, fixing it now. Midway's 1971 WILD KINGDOM.

  • I know there are better games out there. But I mean games that use electromechanics instead of a video screen. With the technology today, I can see these kinds of games being done with more detail and intricacy.

  • Because there are better ones

  • What an awesome game! Why don't they make games like this anymore?
