Opening scene for the 1st episode of the "The Dukes of Hazzard", One Armed Bandits. Filmed on location in Covington/Conyers area of Georgia. Airdate: Jan 26, 1979. The first five episodes were noted for being more rough and raunchy. They also contained a realism of atmosphere that couldn't quite be duplicated when production moved to California. Fans less familiar with the early eps may be surprised by the bickering between Bo and Luke in this ep. Also, "Crazy Cooter" Davenport truly lives up to his name in these early eps. I can't believe it's been 33 years since the premiere of the Dukes of Hazzard. It's still the best show in the entire world!
