The photo is a clever fake. Look at Jimis Right hand, Looks a bit weird doesn't it? his second finger must be 8 inches long with an extra knuckle, Anyway the interview in 'Guitar & Bass' Nov 2011, vol 23 Nr 02, you can find it yourself, Johnny states he never met Hendrix. Personally I believe Winter and don't think he has forgotten meeting Hendrix!

I read an interview with Johnny Winter last year where he states catergorically that he never jammed with Hendrix. Ever. And any recordings purporting to this were pure bullshit, but really you just have to listen. does it sound like Jimi Hendrix and Johnny Winter? Not even after a pint of LSD and a 6 pounds of mushrooms each. Use your ears people.
