i been playing basketball long time but i never forget you. Davenport; Iowa City, remember that littlle town by Madison where u headed up 5 regional bands. I do not remember all but is was White Lightniny; . i cannot spell lighnin, but i swear this afternoon venue in a bar by madison rates up high with most of the dead shows at alpine or soldierrs field
In my original post I purposely didn't mention where we saw them. It was at a bar, believe it or not, which you of course already know. I also saw Ted Nugent and The Amboy Dukes in a bar in Stevens Point that year. As I recall there were something like 100 bars in that town of 20,000 people at that time. Good old Wisconsin entertainment.
i seen them just last sept. at KEOSAUQUA IA at the state line rally for the three state abate and they were great

"Down In The Bottom" was covered by Howlin' Wolf, not written by him. Willie Dixon is the songwriter.

Hey, nice to hear from you, we were college students looking for fun in those days, and we usually found it. I'm sure we enjoyed your group as well.

Unbelievable, but true, the band I was with played backup to these guys in Steven's Point in 1972, one of I think 3 bands that played before them.
