So, yes Nintendo was working with Sony to develop a CD add on to the Super Nintendo, without getting into details Nintendo screwed the pooch on that deal and tried to go with Philips to make it, scrapped that then but had given Philips the right to use certain characters for a few games, thus the crappy CDi and equally crappy Zelda games

i do remember being pissed about not having 2 players on final fight but i was so happy to have such a great conversion of it to actually play at home i ' sort of ' forgave it ;)

I was 10 years old in 1991, I did not get a SNES until 1992 or 1993. I remember being very angry about Final Fight, I just wanted to scream out loud "Why can't you be like the arcade version!?" All while throwing the cart across the room. It was a good game nonetheless.
