16 Narnia's "No More Shadows From The Past" is from their "Awakening" album on Nuclear
Blast.

Narnia was formed in 1996 by vocalist Christian Liljegren and guitarist Carljohan Grimmark.
The two first met in '93 and realized their mutual passion for neo-classical hard rock(Modest Attraction) . Mutual
influences include Joey Tempest, Ronnie James Dio, Yngwie Malmsteen and Ritchie Blackmore.
The guitar playing will surprise people, especially when they realize that Carljohan is only 19
years old and already a celebrity for his virtuosity in Japan!

The Awakening's meticulous recording process commenced in Topz Recording Studios in
September 1996 and was finished January 1997.

In May 1997, the line-up was completed by drummer Andreas Johansson, keyboard player
martin Claesson and bassist Jakob Persson, who has co-written the instrumental "The Return Of
Aslan."
