I get the error "E:Type 'Cairo-Dock-Stable' is not known on line 50 in source list /etc/apt/sources.list'" and can't open software center or update. Any help?

sudo gedit /etc/apt/sources.list
and carefully remove the cairo dock ppa.

@thejoesteiger 1:52 i followed all the instructions from your webpage and this video, and nothing appears in this "Shell Extensions" - so, i did a dist-upgrade to Precise Pangolin, and there is still nothing at "Shell Extensions" - what could be going wrong on my attempts?

@nitturo You are running Gnome Shell 3.2. User theme extension doesn't work yet with Gnome Shell 3.2
