***PLEASE RATE*** This is originally from the second to last battle against Julius in Final Fantasy Adventure on the original Gameboy.

There is a small guessing game in the video for FF Nerds to enjoy.

**NOTE: Youtube user Sephiroth7734 has found an error in my video. The second character is in fact Davius, who happens to be a mindflayer, but is not a generic mindflayer; rather he is a major character.

  • So, isnt that a song from 'Secret of Mana' ? O_O

  • @McChaiWithMilk Maybe.....? haha I don't know. This originally appeared on a Gameboy game released in America as "Final Fantasy Legend" I know that there was a remake for the Gameboy Advanced titled "Sword of Mana" that was also released in America.

As for other versions on other consoles with other names or versions that are released in other countries with alternate titles, I don't know about them. Also, if they recycled the same music for other games, I would be equally unaware of that.

  • Julius Vandole is the son of Vandole, not an incarnation. :P

  • What?

  • Incidentally, "Man" isn't the Red Mage guy's name either. It's just that they don't tell you his real name in the instruction manual. That's because his real name is Julius. He probably had some magic helping with the disguise, of course.

  • SO... Your two posts basically said "Yo, dude, you fucked up almost everything in your video!" lol I'll hang my head in shame.

I don't remember the term "Mavole" being used in the game, but I guess neither was gorgon, it was assumed.

In my defense, I haven't played FF:A (MQ) in such a long time!

I'll update the description to reflect your corrections later on. Thanks!

  • @IidoTheFox Ahhh SORRY - Sword of Mana is the Remake x_X

    Ahhh, epic fail ;)

  • @McChaiWithMilk Nope, it's not on Secret of Mana

  • @McChaiWithMilk It's rather a remake of Secret of Mana i guess, i'm not a fan of this but I loved so much Sword of Mana and i played one time to Secret of Mana and it's look a like.

  • @SUPRAKEI YES, I know ;)

Just read the comments above and u can see, that that was my question.

I actually know about this song being part of 'Sword of Mana' ;)

I just found out, that that song was also part of a game ( "Final Fantasy Legends") which wasnt released here in Germany.

But there was an other game - Final Fantasy Adventure, which wasnt released like this in Europe, too - but just got the new name 'Mystic Quest'. And Sword of Mana is actually a remake of this one :D

  • @McChaiWithMilk Actually, it's a song of Sword of Mana

  • @TrueLadyX Sounds like there were some translation errors.

  • @ReynaldoRiv So, whatever o.O Its a great piece of music :)

  • @ReynaldoRiv Yeah, it really is from the game 'Secret of Mana'. There also was a game for the GB named 'Mystic Quest' here in Germany. And the 'Secret of Mana' one seems to be a remake of this. A, okay... I just read an arcticle which says that there was no release of this 3 'Final Fantasy Legend' Games here in Germany or in Europe(?). Its really strange xD

The names Julius, Vandole, the Emperor...all of these are a component of 'The Secret/The Sword of Mana' Series... Okay its a mystery xDDD
