Babies and old people have fewer antibodies and are subsequently less resistant to disease and infection than a person of parenting age, such as Ms. Silverstone. So yes, she very well could be harming her baby. There very well could be microorganisms literally living inside Ms. Silverstone's mouth that she may be immune to, but could sicken or even kill her baby. Why do you think they make commercials telling you not to clean baby's pacifier in ur mouth? It can even cause cavities later in life

As long as the mom has no communicable diseases that are saliva transmittable, and her mouth is clean, premastication is perfectly natural for an infant/toddler. It has been done since the dawn of humanity. Whoever says otherwise can just choose not to do it. I would only condemn someone doing it if they had a cold sore or something. I guess it's good manners not to do it in public, but if I saw it being done I wouldn't pay any mind. It's not child abuse!

No it isn't. I've researched the subject, and not everyone is as homogenized as you, and feels the need to justify their points by throwing around invalid insults. I guess you don't know how to argue your points without trying to put down someone just because their opinion differs from you. I'd say you need to really grow up already.. There's this thing out in nature called the "mama bird technique" and it is not degrading (this is in reply to the other nay sayers).
