Wow... I'm impressed with the lengths you guys went through to mess up your library for this video. I just wanted to say though, that the damage is not limited to the physical deterioration of libraries. The knowledge a librarian possesses about the collections they maintain and competent research skills will also be lost and students will suffer for it.

This video is a remarkable enactment of what will happen if districts don't stand tough for school libraries. School Libraries are much more than just books - now it's about INFORMATION Literacy and INFORMATION Fluency! Citation, anti-plagiarism, evaluation of sources, ethical use of information too! Teacher Librarians are fundamental for student academic achievement. Our students need them as well as a facility to connect with the print and online collection.

I agree with aiwlibrary. We wanted to focus on certain aspects of closure. Other librarians in our district produced another a few months earlier called "Ask Me" that illustrates the many services we provide and the skills we teach.
