The 2010 Kia Rondo sees a ton of changes, including newly standard 7-passenger seating. In size and price, this midsize front-wheel-drive wagon glides between Kia's compact Spectra5 hatchback and midsize Sorento SUV. Rondo comes in LX and EX trim levels, each with a choice of 4-cylinder or V6 power. The 4-cylinder is a 175-horsepower 2.4-liter unit; the V6 a 200-horsepower 2.7-liter. Four-cylinder models have a 4-speed automatic transmission, while V6 versions use a 5-speed automatic. A 60/40 split-folding 3rd-row bench that increases seating capacity to 7 is newly standard on all Rondo models; it previously was optional on the LX. Available safety features include ABS, traction control, antiskid system, front-side airbags, bluetooth and curtain-side airbags. Power windows, locks, and mirrors are standard. Leather upholstery is standard on the EX. Heated front seats are standard on the EX and optional on the LX. A navigation system is available on the EX. A rearview camera is newly available. This report is based on evaluations of the 2009 Kia Rondo.
