Well in my opinion the intelligence of this music is far above that of the Matrix Series. I watched the movies, I enjoyed them, but I can't see why anyone would think them to be particularly great. That's my opinion, and you're free to do what you like.

I have listened to all of Ayreon's albums first without any visualization, but the first visual parallel I made was with the Matrix series. Why all the Matrix haters here I wonder? Meh--ignore them Perpetuum--they obviously lack the depth of consciousness and intellectual ability that you and I have. ;)

@Perpetuum I think it's probably because Human Equation could be listened to people who aren't exactly fans of the genre. Electric Castle is more eccentric and not as produced.

I am generally of the opinion that anything Jonas Renske does will always be amazing, but I dunno man. I just CAN'T get into Ayreon. It all feels so goofy, I can't take it seriously. This album sounds like it was taken straight out of Krull or something
