Charlie Crist's legacy -- the truth about Florida SB 360

Gov. Charlie Crist signed SB 360 on June 1, exactly one week (almost to the minute) after I posted this video. I was just one of thousands of Floridians -- Republicans and Democrats, environmentalists and fiscal conservatives -- who urged Gov. Crist to take a stand for Florida and veto SB 360, and I'd like to thank everyone who joined in this effort.

Politicians and pundits say that ordinary people don't care about issues like growth management, and if there's one thing I've learned from the fight against SB 360, it's that they're wrong about that. Political folks also say that voters have a short memory. I hope they're wrong about that, too.

After Charlie Crist signed SB 360 into law, I figured I might as well take this video down. After all, what's done is done, and while 1,000 people watched it in the past week, by this time next year it'll probably only garner another 10 views or so. But I'm leaving it up anyway, just to remind those 10 people what we lost -- and who gave it away.
