Girl Aloud Nicola Roberts has followed in the footsteps of fellow Girls Aloud members Cheryl Cole and Nadine Coyle and released her debut single "Beat of My Drum" and followup "Lucky Day" which both made the Top 40 of the UK Singles Chart, and her debut solo album "Cinderella's Eyes" made the Top 20 of the UK Albums Chart, while garnering lots of critical acclaim. The Ginger Queen has confirmed she will be thankfully be releasing "Yo-Yo" as the album's third single. Hopefully, she'll keep putting music out.
Here's Nicola dropping by BT Digital Music Awards to perform "Yo-Yo" with a simple piano and guitar backing which places lots of vocals on her vocals. Enjoy!

Awful - I feel sorry for the musicians having to accompany this rubbish. what is with her vibrato, she sounds like Cilla Black!!

The chorus got me excited. The way her voice rose when she said "swinging me up, swinging me down". There was real potential there, but the finish was anything but satisfactory. It just went back to the 'yo-yo-yo-yo' crap. Real shame. Had she gone a different route, the chorus would have been amazing.
