@STRYPEROCKS777 Acts 2:38, Peter said you MUST receive the Holy Ghost to receive salvation. But speaking in tongues is different than the gift of tongues. Speaking in tongues is between you and God, and happens everytime the Holy Ghost enters you, and the gift of tongues is to you cant speak to in your own tongue

@geisterbahn1 There are two different kinds of tongues. The gift of tongues, which is for ministering when you cant in your own language. And the speaking in tongues which is evident when you receive the Holy Spirit, and it is between you and God, not for any man to understand. Nothing passed away with the Apostles, for GOD is everlasting.

"Therefore tounges are for a sign, not to those who BELIEVE but to unbelievers; but prophesying is not for unbelievers but for those who believe. Therefore if the whole church comes together in one place, and all speak with tounges,and there come in those who are uninformed or UNBELIEVERS, will they not say that you are out of your mind?" 1cor.14:22-23

Read carefully we see the speaking in tounges are for the one speaking in the tounge. As a result he now knows the Spirit is in him,he believes.

Tounges passed away with the Apostals .the rest is of other powerspostals . Anyway, they where known tounges. They seem really flakey and false .

Doesnt the body rot when we die,and the soul is seperated at death?please say yes ,coz I dont wont these people's vocal cords in heaven,yabbering for eternity!If he can perform the miracle of talking in tongues,why does he need glasses to see better,would a miracle fix this???Would'nt christianity relieve our need to be vein?Why does she dye her hair ,is she not happy with what god provided her with,vanity be before charity,not a very christ like trait. ca-ching...

I am sure that the people who you are close with want the same thing for you. The people you are close to, you care for and who care for you are your support in hard times.
