@rockyjnr10 It depends on which Squier, yeah, they're all entry level axes but actually the squier standard strat is actually not so bad...for 230 bucks, it's not a bad deal. We don't all have 1,200 bucks to lay down on an American Standard -- of course, if your standars are that high, yeah, Squier is shit.

@curry762000 hey dude. I rea your comment about buying a beginner squier stat on marty'z video.
Man my advice for you would be to not to go crazy on what all these youtube-guys write.
They all pretend to be much better and wiser than they are.
A Squier Strat is just fine for a beginner. Its all you need. Get all the techniques and your playing straight before you mind about the sound of your guitar. You wont even recognize whats wrong about your guitar as a beginner. Just chill and have fun.

@rockyjnr10 If your a beginner you wont be able to tell the difference anyways so just go ahead and get either the squier strat or the £99/$150 strat by a company called rose morris at denmark street
Other than that, the american one is a bit different than the standard, play em both and watch a video or two and you'l get me
