Stunning new pure black andalucian stallion. 5 years old and already starting high school. Absolutely beautiful in the flesh and with the most serious, intelligent, trainable temperment - he really is fit for a king!

  • It's would be a good piaffe, if the horse would be more relaxed and not forced with every step to lift his legs higher. ò.ó If he does not offer this movements voluntary, it's no sign of High Dressage, it's show.

  • Totally agree, good comment ;)

  • ...trying to impress and running FREE ,.... the training is totally diffrent. Next point: Yeah, horses miss it, when they don't get trained, but thats just becuase they get bored... standing all day in a little stable, or (espacially stallions) alone at a paddock... they would do almost everything to be able to move their bones. So don't tell me, i'dont know anything ... i'm just trying to think animal-friendly and i'm not trying to justify human treatment ...

  • @mathildaseymour : don't know where to start: a) : a clasical dancer would train on his own because he wants to, you will never see a horse acting like that voluntarily (if the horse would, why should the man have to force him???) .. please ask ANY clascial dancer if they like their trainer standing next to them and yelling "higher, higher, higher, put the leg up higher" and everytime they miss the expected level they get a stick hit on their knees?? To perform the swan is like a stallion ..

  • @WollFratz Aha, so might be clasical dancers trained, absolutly relaxed, so instead the dead of the swan they would get the dead of the ducke, this horses like to be trained and still more, they get proud when are in exhibition and if not trained miss it and feel sads, why people talk about what dont know?

  • Is that not a passage?

  • @cherryzrock16 he does look like he will. However, the trainer is standing by the horses shoulder and when you stand there it is hard for the horse to reach him with his legs. (But that won't stop you from getting bitten though!)

  • Oh come on :") Loose the whip and then see if he does it too ;)

  • @AlwaysHorseLove -

He's helping him do the Piaffe, is that not obvious or are you blind?

  • For what? Doing the piaffe? Come on..

  • Its not forced! The man's only correcting the stallion...

  • @WollFratz

If they simply let the horse lift the neck and pointed the whip to the croup instead WITHOUT actually touching it I'm betting the piaffe would be perfect. hell, if the horse' got the point I don see the need for the whip at all.
