We've been preparing for Isaac's visit to the Gulf Coast for days now. This category 1 hurricane is set for landfall along Southeast Louisiana sometime in the early morning hours of Wednesday but we started feeling the effects of the rain bands, wind gusts and storm surge along Fort Morgan, Gulf Shores, Orange Beach and Perdido Key beaches today. We are anticipating a lot of rain and a storm surge of 4-8 feet over the next 24 hours. Hopefully, Isaac will leave us and the entire Gulf Coast quickly so vacationing guests can return to the island Thursday and start their Labor Day vacations.
