How do Muslims, Christians view each others holy texts?

The relationship between Islam, Christianity and Judaism is definitely a 'live' issue, an issue of contemporary concern. It is an issue of concern in our world

Representing the Muslim perspective was attorney Yusuf Ismail; Mr Ismail is presently full-time in the legal profession and is additionally affiliated to the IPCI where he engages in primarily inter-faith discussions and debates with individuals from varying persuasions and religious and political backgrounds.

He earned a Bcom law law degree from University of Durban in Westville and a bachelors of law from University Natal

He is a part time lecturer in law at Unisa SBL

He is heading the interfaith department of the islamic propagation center international on a part time basis.

He is primarily involved in discussions focusing on the relevancy of Christianity and Islam in the modern world, discussions on Christian Muslim relations in postmodern society and the challenges of secularism in the 21st century.

Mr. Ismail has engaged in regular debates on theological issues with a number of leading christian figures in South Africa such as Dr. Seecombe, Pastor Glenn Schentke and Pastor Bob Benjamin

Last year he was instrumental in setting up and coordinating a series of debates between Shabir Ally from Toronto and leading christian apologist from South Africa John Gilchrist.

Representing the Christian side was Mr. John Gilchrist: Mr Gilchrist is a practicing attorney, notary and conveyancer who regularly addresses the Institute of Estate Agents in South Africa.

Gilchrist is also the editor of Finance and Manage your Home Loan, soon to be republished under the title My Mortgage.

He's been engaged in Christian Evangelism in South Africa for the past 35 years

He has held debates with figures such as Ahmed Deedat in mid 70s and many numerous Muslim Scholars

The way to know God is not to become a scholar of God and learn about all that man believes or thinks. The way to God is to become a disciple of Jesus the embodiment of God on earth prophesied to come and fulfill the promise made to Abraham and David that Gods wrath would be quenched by a one time and perfect sacrifice from God for God showing Gods true persona and love for his children by being a slave to righteousness a friend of God and a merciful patient teacher of love to all.
