It's good to see that people remember their culture. But being an immigrant to North America myself I see problems when you cling to your past for too long. This hinders integration. If you think you are a Kazakh patriot why did you turn your back on your home? In the spirit of globalization we should celebrate our traditions - and then move on.

It's not really most, it's just that Kazakhs in two most important cities speak Russian in Astana and Almaty, and also some do speak kazakh but since they are uneducated about turkic world, whenever they see another turk they start thinking it's better to communicate in Russian, but as I said before most Kazakhs now speak just Kazakhs like Kazakhs in Shymkent, Taraz, Aktau, Atyrau, Karaganda, Kyzylorda.
