NRA rank and file don't think people on the terrorist watch list should buy guns.

@Annie7821 More than 1 million people are on that list, often for no reason at all, with no way to find out how they got on it, and no real way to get off the list.
One reporter was put on the list for an anti-TSA story he did.
There's even an airline pilot and a few dozen CHILDREN on that list.
Restricting people's travel was something done in Nazi Germany....
Vee need to zee your Paperz pleez, give zem to me, NOW.....

Ted Kennedy and an 8 year old girl in Conn I believe were on this list. Let's rephrase the question; Should a secret government list that you have no idea if you are on it or not, can't appeal to get off it and don't know how you got on it be used to deny a fundamental Constitutional Right? Put free speech or any other right on that list and THEN tell me you support it. Think people! Get Informed!

Why in the world should someone on a "watch list" be denied freedoms guaranteed by the US constitution? Whatever happened to due process. Also, should these terrorists be in JAIL and not on a watch list?! I don't think I'll ever understand that one.
-
Why do so many people both in the videos and in the comments seem to think that being on the terrorist watch list means that the person in question is here illegally? Many of the people on the list are U.S. citizens who have broken no laws. Look up the story about the 8-year-old kid who's on the list, or the pilot for a major airline who's also on it!
(To preempt some of the inevitable responses, I do favor closing the so-called terrorist loophole with tighter restrictions on gun ownership.)

@hughster41 lol, 90% were allowed to buy guns, where the 10% that weren't prior convicted felons? I bet so! Because no fucking check is done against the terrorist watch list! If it is prove it, show one source quoting your statistics other than some jack ass on Fox News!
-
@hughster41 What facts? The fact is that gun dealer doesn't know what the fuck he's talking about because he submits a form to the government and the government responds to the form. There is no check of names against the terrorist watch list. If you did 10 fucking seconds of research you would know this to be a fact. 1 fucking moron in a video doesn't change reality! This is the problem with the morons that watch fox news. You hear 1 idiot say something and your gullible ass believe it!

NO ONE WHO IS ILLEGALLY here should be allowed to BUY ANYTHING, let alone a gun. NO PERSON ON the terrist watch list should be allowed to buy a gun.

@SourceCode2006 So all people who are NRA are terrorists? Or do you claim joining the NRA will make you blow up Federal buildings in the mid-west with a fertilizer bomb? Do you consider all white people or all military personnel terrorists, generally speaking? What is you're point? Is it that fact you afraid of guns or gun owners? Maybe you are fascinated by the freak of nature McVeigh as he seems to be the only thing you cling to.

what is the point of this question?
@gamoonbat
That's the dumbest thing I've ever heard... You've never met a jew have you....
They love guns, unlike others they clearly remember their past, and have many have promised to never like something like that happened again...

I very much doubt Terrorist watch list = list of proven terrorists. If we could prove they were then they'd either be in jail, or we would be arresting them.
In the absence of this, the question becomes should the government be able to deny weapons to people they *suspect* of being or having links to terrorists.
Of course, guns should not be sold to terrorists, but as I say, I don't think that's really what we're talking about.
