@MastaGambit I did already know this, but that doesn't really matter at all. He's a fantastic character and it doesn't make much of a difference what canon he's in.
When I say "series" I am referring to all Castlevania games, not just the ones that fit into the official timeline.

@GarthMcCreery True. Alone, Trevor is probably the weakest of the Belmonts in terms of single-handed powers. Hell even Christopher had the flame whip. :p But when it comes to alliances, Trevor was probably the best at it, being able to ally with Grant, Sypha and Alucard.

@HamsterPants522 Just so you know, Gabriel is non-canon to the main series. Lords of Shadow was simply a reboot; a parallel universe almost.

@goldensun003 In one of the games, Dracula cast a curse on Simon Belmont upon being defeated which caused Simon to slowly die. Simon, being the badass he is, went to Dracula's castle again, gathered his body parts, resurrected him and killed him again to end the curse.Y

Simon was the original Vampire Killer. Doesn't matter who in the story line came first or not or is more "powerful". I grew up with NES and Simon was a BAMF then and he's a BAMF now. No if's and's or but's.
