Why are Don McLean's lips out of sync with the lyrics & guitar? I love this tune, but this lag in timing is maddening.

@Autistic1 It's bad, I know... At the time I posted this there was an issue with youtube skewing the audio and video by 11 30ths of a second once they were uploaded. I would skew my videos prior to uploading to compensate. After about a year, youtube did something that fixed the problem, but all my vids from then are skewed this way. At some point I will re-post this in sync, but just haven't had the time to do so.

@Autistic1 with opening the video twice you can fix the time lagging.

@leonardjohnny67 I sang a moving rendition of this song in a karaoke bar one night. Yes, the audience was moved!! Quite curiously, as I sang, the audience moved.............. to the nearest exit!! :o(

It's a big surprise to me that this is how Don looks now, so old and overweight. It's as if marriage and raising his kids aged him a lot more than normal. Thankfully, he still sounds pretty good although his light-voiced style is gone.
