  • No, no, your abacas is backwards if you are doing Soroban Abacas. The UNITS are on the Right. The TENS are to the LEFT of the Units, The HUNDREDS are to the LEFT of the TENS. It's the same way when you write the numbers. Teaching it backwards is pretty confusing. 427 - Four HUNDRED, Twenty Seven which isn't the same as 724!!
