Yes, I've posted this song earlier. But I learned this new guitar-break that I wanted to share with you. Picked it up from one of Dave's live recordings. I also put the capo on 2th fret this time. Like it better that way.

Great! I really enjoy your performance of this song. I once heard Brownie McGee perform it at the Ash Grove (back in the 60s), but I have not been able to find any recording or video of his rendition of the song. Is Brownie the one who wrote it?

You're really lucky. I have been able to find it eather. I've only heard Happy Traum play his version of it. Think it's pretty similar.

Yes, he wrote it. According to Dave Van Ronk, Brownie was only 10 years old when he wrote it. :-)

meanwhile, I duped that cd of Dave in Syracuse(1970?) but the smallest file was too large fo gmail.. It was recorded well and I'd hate to mp3 it. I could dupe it ad send it sail mail
