My father, Antonio Martinez came to the United States to live his American Dream in 1974, when he founded the Martinez Hand Made Cigars factory in the Chelsea section of New York City.

He came from a tiny town named Tamboril in the Dominican Republic, famous for it's splendid tobacco and centuries of fine cigar manufacturing. When he came here he brought with him the best tobacco and the most skilled rollers of Tamboril and Martinez Cigars quickly earned a reputation as a producer of some of the world's finest cigars.

Martinez Cigars feature the very best select blends of tobaccos and wrappers from around the world.
