The fact that he managed to get through it with a straight face after the week weve had, on the very day when The One told his opponents to shut up and get out of his way, is a sign of a true master PR flack at work. My only quibble with Tappers question and follow-up is that he wasnt as comprehensive as he might have been. It was Pelosi who jump-started the Nazi meme with her idiotic comment about astroturfers carrying swastikas and it was lefty journo Bill Press who accused conservatives of following the Hitler playbook. And that only accounts for invective that explicitly invoked Nazism; if he broadened the question to more general accusations of racism against Republicans, he would have been there all day.

@ericfla I'm just a little guy and my small business was responsible for pumping in between 20k and 40k to the American tax base annually, not to mention my employees and their input.

And today I have hardly anything. Just as I was about to make some improvements, get another truck and another employee to rise up to the new heavier workload, this Obama movement swept out the carpet. I have broke even for 3 years straight, 0 taxes. Employees have been laid off for 3 years now but for 1 guy. Sad!

The wealthy have a higher moral responsibility to give back to the system that gave them the opportunity to be wealthy. Gee the 1% payss 40-%? That makes a certain sense since that the top 1% of households (the upper class) owns 33.4% of all privately held wealth.
