A test of the close-up capabilities of the mino using an extra lens. In the first half the Mino is a little too close. You'll notice the image gets a little crisper when the Mino is pulled back an inch or so.

note: the digital zoom was slightly used, so the image is a bit more pixelated than it would be without the zoom.

  • Interesting. The focus definitely gets crisper when the camera is backed off a little, or is that the zoom? What kind of lighting did you use and how close was it to the subject?

  • Lighting: outdoor sunlight.

    Lens: the front lens taken from a set of binoculars was placed in front of the mino. This is not the just the normal mino lens in action.
