greyhound racing.....the sad truth

This is a wake up call to everyone who goes to the dogs and bets on these animals. Where honestly do you think the slow or older dogs end up?!?!? The sad truth is many are simply killed or dumped. Only a handful are adopted and this is so sad as they are the most gentle and wonderful pets. Please watch this vid if you think all these dogs somehow find magical happy endings maybe this will wake you up and stop you betting on the dogs. Remember you bet and they die.

@Angelhorse66 hey good news for you i have two cats and a greyhound they get on fab if you check out greyhound charities they do sometimes get cat friendly greyhounds in :)

@MrWaynoracer It is you who is talking a crock of s**t!! ANY greyhound rescue will tell you that they are struggling to cope with the sheer number of dogs discarded by the racing industry. It is a well known fact that dogs die horrific deaths at the track or at the kennels. To try and say the dogs go on to live a long a happy retirement is a pack of lies!! I HATE dog and horse racing. They are no more humane than bullfighting!!

@MrWaynoracer if you want to keep believing that then do but your been very very naive contact any greyhound charity they will tell you how outta control this problem is. Did you see the man convicted of running a greyhound killing service £10 a dog this man put down thousands of these dogs! So rant all you like this is the reality of this so called sport in reality it's a blood sport just like horse racing is! There is no where for these animals to go when their racing career is over!
