  • Synaesthesia requires attention?...

  • @raydredX This means that if you do not focus on it, than you do not percieve it.

  • Every synesthete's perception is different!! you can't tell which perception is right and which isn't! so you can't argue about what sex, color, taste a letter or number or thing has.Maybe there could be similarities but it only depends on how the synesthete perceives his ot her world!

  • i have synesthesia, and things are not necessarily attached to a specific color they have an image/feeling/mental picture. so i laugh at those of you who are arguing about what each letter, it is a personal experience shaped form your personal experiences, personality, and your outlook on life. PLUS IT GOES FOR ALL SENSES, not just sound-visual or numerical value-color ect. and if you are arguing about the ABSOLUTE VALUE of a numbers color chances are you're victim to the placebo effect. lol....

  • Huh. When I was younger, I'd get a really sour taste in my mouth whenever my music teacher talked. My mouth would just taste dry whenever I thought of paper towels or carpets. And I also heard that if your family members have it, you are likely to have it too. My brother has synesthesia already. So yeah.

  • @Synnie83 yes thats true :)

  • its bullshit!!! every person with Synaesthesia sees in different colour when hearing music or imagines words and numbers. trust me this video is bullshit

  • smoking weed always gives me synesthesia - i can see the colour of sound.

  • Synesthesia is so cool to resesarch. I didn't realize that I'm an associative grapheme synesthete until I watched a doctumentary 3 years ago. I'd had never really thought of what letters are certain colours but when I thought of it I realized that they all have very specific colours. I never knew why I coloured my time tables for school the same way. French as pink English as green. I never noticed that I have certain colours for numbers and letters because I don't physically see it.

  • @misium It's just there IDK but i've always had it...

  • @ThisGuysMovies What do you mean see-trough? You can't possibly see what's under the surface. Unless... if a girl wares a t-shirt with a '0' printed on it, can you see the boobies?

  • @BlueZodiac333 I guess we share that as well then! :D

  • @misium I can see them in my head 'cause I see white 0 and a see-through background. But thanks for asking! :D

  • @ThisGuysMovies Does it mean you don't see zeros?
