Chris Hornbys YT International JU87 Stuka.

This is one heavy and over powered model. It has a 40Volt 2000W power system and full on board sound generators.

Maiden flight, without flaps. Second turn almost resulted in an early arrival as the nose tucked in.

  • Seriously? Personally PC bullshit like that is close to pretending that WWII did not happen. Next you will be suggesting that we gloss over the holocaust so we don't upset the children.

  • That looks and sounds absolutely amazing. Looks like a .60 size blasa convert? May I ask how much to convert it to electric with sound system? I've seen sound systems starting at 250.00 dollars US and higher. I'm guessing you sunk at least 1000 US dollars into that plane? Again, absolutely chilling hearing that bird fly by, thanks for the video!

  • Try a 160 powered glass fibre constructed plane converted to 2KW power train.

  • @1makermovie Give me a break dude!! You remind me of this couple that came into the hobby store a few months ago where they had a large stuka model for sale. The woman said to her husband "I can't believe they have the swastika on the tail there." IT'S A FRIGGIN' REPLICA FOR GOODNESS SAKES!! I'm sick of PC crap like this.

  • Do you know why the iron cross is on this plane. BECAUSE IT LOOKS FREAKIN BITCHIN!!!

  • @chrisbofh if we dont inform the children they could easily grow up to become the hosts of the next holocaust. its an embarrasment to see what such noble historian countries like britain have done with the history classes in school. not teaching about the holocaust because it "offends" the students of particular religion. and why does it offend them? because they dont ebelive it happened

  • Awesome plane, thank you for sharing.

  • During some 2,530 aircombat sorties, Hans-Ulrich Rudel destroyed about 519 Russian tanks, more than 800 vehicles, 150 artillery ground targets, 70 landing craft and many bridges...He also destroyed one battleship, one destroyer, and he shot down nine Soviet aircraft! A typical Stuka was an easy target for any faster aircraft fighter; and for Rudel to make through the war, THAT'S SHEAR GUTS!!!

  • For those of you non aviation buffs out there, this Stuka is modelled after a famous Stuka pilot named Hans-Ulrich Rudel; Rudel is believed to be the most luckiest pilot EVER for surviving so many sorties in a very vulnerble aircraft...

  • Is this from Hyperion?

  • Ok, it takes quite a bit to impress me when it come to RC. But this is just wonderful. 5 stars

  • Sweet! Gonna get me one of those someday!

  • Very nice, its adds another whole dimension to scale RC.

  • Chris the sound system is very affective. I am looking into this at the moment for a 125'' P-38 lightning i am building. Where is the sound system from. thanks John tjd models.

  • Chris

details on how you did the sound system would help a lot of us

    By the way

thats one hell of a warbird you have there

    Well done

    regards

    Geoff

  • (faints)

  • The motor is a recording of a real stuka, synched to the throttle. The cannon and sirens are also in the sound system

  • Cool plane and good flying. Did you dub some sound effects? If not, that sure is a great sounding motor.
