I know I'm going against the tide here, but I actually like this version of Batman more than the 1990's Batman. Don't get me wrong, the old one's great, it had a really nice art style, the animation was brilliant and the stories were really well crafted.
That being said, it did have a really lame Robin and the fights always seemed a little... awkward like the characters didn't how what to move. This show never had any of those problems, and was a bit more fun while still being serious.

I used to love this show! Then they brought Robin and Bat-Girl into it, then it just got cancelled and now it's never on!

The first one (the one that had batgirl in it) sounded better but the second one best suited batman

They're both awesome in their own way. The first is very dark and spooky, while the second one combines a bit of that 1960s Batman element... not necessarily a bad thing, but makes it less scary for a kids cartoon :P

Tim Burton's Batman (1989) and Batman Returns, Batman The Animated Series, Batman Beyond, Justice League, Justice League Unlimited (Bruce Timm's DC Animated Universe), Christopher Nolan's Batman Begins and The Dark Knight, and Batman Arkham Asylum all kick this version of Batman's ass.
