I've a huge piece of burl sitting on the floor. what I'm missing is a VB-36, VicMarc...Woodfast would do it too :)

Nice bowl, Robbie. I love turning burls, what you guys call burr across the pond. It's too bad you had to break off those wings. I hate to waste wood, especially with grain like that. Did you find a use for those pieces? I usually save pieces like that, the grain is just too pretty to throw away. I'll try to find a place to use it for inlay or something like that.
