The female bluebird certainly made up for yesterday's lack of progress. She worked steadily, bringing dry pine straw into the nest box, making sure she was building up the sides of the nest first leaving a hole in the middle where the nest cup will go. You'll also see what happens when an unsuspecting Carolina Wren goes in the box to look around.
I don't understand how someone can watch such a video and say there's no God; it was all serendipity. I'm not saying this proves there's a God, but if you don't see design in it, you're more cynical than Shakespeare.

that wern was actually expecting eggs or young bluebirds. Tha was one ofthe types orwerns hat will seek out and kill as many bluebirds as posible to lower their populaton so the werns have more food. Its a good thing A) the nest is still mostly intact, B) there were no eggs yet and, C) the mama bird made the wer go nuts!
