TURTLE FEEDING

I FEED MY TURTLE SUM MEALWORMS 2DAY! POOKA LOVES MEALWORM BUT 2DAY KIMORA EAT IT TOO! I NEVER GET KIMORA EATING THE MEALWORM ON VIDEO.. SO KOOL! AND SORRY THE VIDEO CUT SHORT!



Other food that turtle eat:

maybe you can try other food like live feeder fish (guppies, goldfish, minnows), earthworms, crickets, waxworms(they have alot of fat so this is like candy not for every day maybe one every two weeks), earthworms, silkworms, aquatic snails, blood worms, daphnia, shrimp, krill, mealworms. For very small turtles, prey may have to be cut into smaller pieces. Larger turtles can be offered larger items like tadpoles. Also leafy greens: collard, mustard and dandelion greens, kale, bok choy. Head (iceberg) lettuce should never be feed as it contains very little nutrition, but dark green leaf lettuces (like romaine) can be feed sparingly. In an aquarium or pond you can add aquatic plants on which turtles usually love to snack. Submerged plants like anacharis are often eaten, as are water hyacinth, water lettuce, duckweed, azolla (fairy moss), and frog-bit. Other vegetables: carrots (tops are fine too), squash and green beans.

i used to feed my turtles by hand/fingers just for the heck of it. They can eat without my hands but it's just nice to know they trust me enough to eat from me :D!

wow please give them a lotttt more water!!! fill your whole tank up!.....and they are probably eating the gravel at the bottom, which is realllllly bad for them! =)

My baby musks are on turtle pellets, shrimp, bloodworm, daphnia and the occasion roast chicken and egg shells and boiled egg. Gonna be adding duckweed to my tank soon, hopefully they will be interested in it. I want them to eat their greens! Unlike me...

that good but make sure you dont over do it! i love my babys... they been a pound out side but at nite they have a big tank in my room for them to play and sleep in

i bought that food for my red eared sliders but they only ate the food sticks i always offered them shrimp and krill but they didnt like it

i wouldnt bother with mealworms to be honest they only eat them because they smell.. their hard to digest unless you give it a white one and they have a very very poor calcium to phosphorous ratio and generaly arnt very nutritious at all i would personally feed it earthworms and silk worms and ocasional phoenix worm if you want but its your turtle and your call :)

I am no Crocodile Hunter guy but i am pretty sure those damn turtles need more water in that fuckin tank of yours. Excuse my language but i don't wanna see a video where you are burying your dead turtles!!!
