Honestly, I have the utmost respect for the elite of both nations, but as a Brit, gotta give the SAS, Marine Commandos etc. priority on this one ;)

To be honest though, the US Marines and the Royal Marines aren't really comperable. The USMC take the roll of advanced infantry (as far as I'm aware), while the Royal Marines are closer to the Navy Seals in function....

That's not biased, it's not as if you are saying The USMC is better/worse than the Royal Marines. You are simply giving your intelligent opinion

there's a difference between the standard infantry field and special forces like marsoc and recon in the corps. you're comparing two different fields
