Pennzoil World of Outlaws
Channellock Challenge

Bristol Motor Speedway
Bristol, Tennessee
June 10, 2000

***Bristol is always one of the wildest events on the NASCAR schedule, but do any of you remember seeing it covered in mud. Now a real treat, the Outlaws came to Bristol and man what a show. Its the idea that many thought could, would, and should NOT happen. But it did, and with that here is the 2000 World of Outlaws Sprint Cars at Bristol. Most importantly, THE FOLLOWING IS A SPECIAL PRESENTATION OF... TNN MOTORSPORTS!!!*** Enjoy!!!

  • They had a sprint car do this during the Jeff Byrd 500 weekend, except on the concrete. It ran like a 13.2. More than 2 seconds faster than the cup cars. I can't recall his name though and I'm trying to find a video for it

  • @AlexR47x The driver was Jason Blonde, driver of the #10 BioBased.us car. You can follow him as he is part of the MustSeeRacing Xtreme Sprint Series in 2011.

  • does anyone have this series in higher quality? trying to get it onto a dvd and the youtube video quality isn't high enough. you can send me a private message would be great.

  • All the Swindells are punks.

  • @Stags80 why does everybody think that's the reason? Bristol track owner said it ended because the clay was significantly shortening the life of the concrete surface underneath.

  • I miss TNN.

  • Didn't they stop going here because it was just too damn fast?

  • man i miss steve evans and tnn...equally as much as dave despain and espn thunder!

  • Sammy Swindell almost ran over and killed my dad at this race.. he was mad about a rule that he broke TWICE and tried takin my dad out.. my dad was an official for the WoO

  • Man racing on tv was good back when espn speedworld and tnn motorsports existed. Wish Spike would cover stuff like this.
