I've been saying for years that I was never consulted when they made the list. As far as the upper/lower class, sounds to me like a group inventing arbitrary rules to make themselves feel superior. I don't like crassness, like naming body parts (cunt, cock) in public, but common cursing like stfu, jesus fucking christ, holy shit, goddam, those things I view like seasoning.

Aye, very interesting. I even find their reasons interesting, when they either don't apply the same reasoning to other words and/or just list the "bad" words to explain they are "bad" words.

You're entirely correct, but the only people who don't already know this are morons who've suffered Pavlovian conditioning. It clearly has nothing to do with the literal meaning of the word. It's simply a learned reaction of upset/discomfort/offense when certain syllables are uttered in a specific order.
Ironically these people who're having an animal reaction to stimuli would be the last to admit they are in fact animals.
Fascinating, eh?

I see that, but I still can't find a decent mostly universal definition of offensive. There are a lot of people like me, that do not find words offensive.
Then there are a few people like me that do not find anything said offensive... ridiculous, stupid, intelligent, funny... etc. But not offensive.
I'm not religious by any means, but I rarely have/ or want to use foul language. If I do it's jokingly or when I get ticked off, but not in every day f'kingcommunication in a f'king normal atmosphere f'king just talking.
Because I'll tell tem to STFU.
lol it's almost as annoying as people y'know and everything that use y'know, the "y'know" and the "everything" when they talk........'y'know?
I don't use them because I feel no need to.

Aye, I hardly ever use "those" words at all, but I have no reservations for using any word and will never get offended if someone uses a word.
I agree that someone who uses "fuck" often in each sentence is just as annoying as one who uses y'know or dude several times in each sentence... but not more offensive.

Bad words are typically used by the lower class, and thus, are looked down on by upper class.
In the case of English, words based on the Saxon language tend to be "bad" words, and words with Latin or French origin are considered good, or normal. Many exceptions to this of course.
That said, I agree that classifying a word as bad is stupid, but I'd point out that people get to react to what you say, even if it means getting offended over something stupid.
Not sure what to do about that.

Aye, people get to choose to be offended by anything they want to be offended by, I just wish they'd stop trying to control everyone else based on their preferences.

Good video, but the volume on your talking is too low.

Yeah, I improved that later. On the original video the audio was fine but I chose a bad encoding that youtube didn't like.
