Tennis Lesson: Forehand Step 2 - Take Your Racket Back

After you pivot and turn your shoulders, you begin the second step of the forehand by taking the racket all the way back and get your other arm across your body. This helps with balance and judgment of the tennis ball on your forehand. Once you finish this step, your preparation is done and you're ready to swing at the tennis ball.

Ya this is a topspin forehand. The spin will pull the ball down faster than a flat forehand, giving you more control.

i always try it but every time my damn tennisballs go in the net instead of to the other side. or they fly way over and out.
