I came across this review and I'd like to say that you do not give many good reasons for why you did not like the movie. It is a little depressing and a little dark. The characters do seem to act a depressed but that is because they don't have a guiding figure to keep their lives in order. They're lost and they look to Max for a leader to keep their lives in order, but all max wants is to be away from the structure and order of his old life. The wild things make him realize how good he had it.

Love your review guys! Very honest and like how you two have very different views, specially the Bear guy who liked it . I loved the movie though but I'm into more darker movies too so.
