That's because the standards for women have gone up since the widespread application of makeup. The problem is, society promotes using makeup, yet also promotes natural beauty, which is contradicting. It causes many men to want a woman who's beautiful like that without makeup, which is unrealistic.

Mens buety us a bit different to that of womens but you cant say buety standards for men arent on par with womens.... just that men dont need looks, regardless a true good lookin man like mario lopez, taye diggs, talor lautner, zac efron, or this guy tyson beck will look good whenever whereever with no enhancements like makeup or special surgery
