The 1911 sucks.

This is my rendition of how your typical Glock owner views the 1911. Glock is a fine pistol I guess, if you are into tupperware. Sure they are reliable, I'm not going to deny fact. I'm actually looking to buy a Glock 19. But when it comes to everyday use, I find the comparison between the two pistols to be mismatched. Say classic Cadillac vs a Honda. Sure the Honda will get you from point A to point B, but it's still a Honda, and won't ever be a classic Cadillac, no matter how hard you try to dress up your Honda with k-mart spinners.

The 1911 is always going to be more pleasurable to shoot, period. And then there is just something about the 1911 that says "I mean business."

@chompmyclit This is not "dumb shit" my friend, but is actually a well-understood design flaw of the 1911. You can point shoot all you want, but when your gun jams you'll understand the old familiar rule of "never point shoot a 1911".

Did you even read what I posted? That didn't come from youtube but actually an independent website dedicated to the 1911. They are enthusiasts that love this gun, and they still admit it shouldn't be point shot. This could save your life one day, remember it

"Due to the design of the slide stop, a 1911 user does not have the option of using a very simple shooting method that the US Army says is instinctive, fast and accurate. The reason the method can't be used with the 1911, is because the slide stop pin sticks out from the side of the 1911 and if the index finger is placed along its side and presses on the slide stop pin with firing, the 1911 can jam." do some research before u call others dumb
