  • Build quality and everything aside, I've seen better keyboards on 9" netbooks.

Why didn't they stretch the keyboard all the way to the edges??? all the keys could be easily made larger and more comfortable (look at the tiny shift keys) and coupled with the sub standard touchpad they leave huge, wasted wrist area.

With 11" form factor there's no excuse, Asus did it better with their 1000HE.

  • sorry but that's not true. I have all the 8.9" netbooks (they never built any 9" ones) that were sold by the big manufacturers and i really mean all of them. There is no keyboard that even comes close this sony one and hell, i've been calling out sony in more than a dozen articles ;)

  • this is not a good hands on review i hate when he says "im guessing that....:" arrrrr so stupid.

  • so could you tell me in plain english what your point is? of course i am guessing cause they wouldn't tell us any specs of the device! we were the first ones to get it and that was 6 weeks before the official launch.

maybe you wanna check the upload date of this video before leaving such funny comments ;)

  • lol he says at the beginning "thats the new sony vaio x SERIOUS" instead of x SERIES. LMAO!!!

  • yeah that was a good one.... hey but i was.... serious! :p

  • Fuck all those who gives useless comments like he sounds like Indian, bruno or whatever and sarcasm about stupidity and all the haha and lol, fuck you can't even contribute a beneficial comment this guy already done a good job by posting a thorough hands-on review on the spot. Well done to uploader. Those useless commenting fuckers you all fucking boozed and drunk should just piss while lying dead drunk and gag on your own piss.

  • danke!

  • i want that so bad

  • @banarelo I agree with you that the key board could be bigger.

But it looks gorgeous, and the wrist area is IMO not wasted, it feels MUCH more comfortable to type with a wrist rest than without.

  • And then you drop it, and... it cracks in half.

Wow, talk about sass. Ok, let's take the word "reviewer" out of my original statement. Now it's just a random guy who doesn't know the difference between glossy and matte screens and doesn't know what MagicGate is.

And I'd say MagicGate is fairly successful, seeing a how it's on *every* Sony device that supports removable media, like Vaio desktops, Vaio notebooks, Walkman MP3 players, SE phones, PS2/PS3, PSP, and so on. Unless you believe those items aren't too common ;)
