actualy it was intentional to show what one little missing tool, from a kit could do to an aircraft. notice the hull markings. this is why they dont let the mechanics leave for the day unless a full tool inventory is done

It's a demonstration of ground resonance, please move on...

TEST RESULTS:
FAILURE

@AddictedToStangs , yes absolutely, i was dubious about the ground resonance thing and thought the rear rotor looked off balance, the transmission is the part that suffers most, thats some hot fucked pieces laying broken!! well spotted mate, nice to see an intelligent comment rather than "itll buff out" !!!

well atleast now they know that helicopters are better off in the air

people. If it was being held down, the ropes would be taught. no slack... I think it was because the back rotor was off balance. If you watch the rear rotor spin, you will see that one of the blades is not in line with the other ones. Its extremely subtle, but not much is needed to throw the chopper off balance. It is ever so slightly higher than the other two, and the difference effed it all up. That one blade screwed up the balance of the entire machine, hence the shaking.

'Made in China'
This is not due to upwards thrust but due to ground resonance. This can happen in fully articulated multi-bladed helicopters,
when the helicopter is running while sitting on the ground even when the helicopter is not strapped.
